Our Vision and Mission

For over 20 years we had a vision to establish a vineyard, initially in Mudgee, NSW, where we have a beautiful area of land in one of Australia's most famous wine regions. Life then took a fast spin and we relocated from Sydney and back to Europe in 2006… and fell in love with Portugal and of course the beautiful Portuguese wine.

Vinha do Falesia® is a family owned, boutique vineyard, located atop the dramatic cliffs of Santa Maria on the coast of the Western Algarve, near Lagos, with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. We are excited that Vinha da Falesia has the honour of being both the closest vineyard to the sea, and the most southern vineyard, in Portugal.

Nestled along the scenic Lagos cliff walk between Porta do Mos and Praia do Luz, our vineyard boasts breathtaking ocean views. Enjoy an informative tour followed by tastings of three premium wines with delicious tapas, crafted to delight your palate and enhance your appreciation of the 'Cliff Wine.' We operate an over-18s policy. We’re very sorry for any inconvenience to guest visiting with children.
